Frequently Asked Questions

Covid-19

The vessel is completely cleaned and sanitized in preparation, prior to each booking arrival. We ask that you please sanitize hands prior to boarding the vessel.  We also have sanitization stations with gel and wipes throughout the vessel.

Please do not board the vessel.

Before entering the vessel please self assess:

  • Do you have any other following new or worsening symptoms or signs? Symptoms should not be chronic or related to other known causes or conditions.
    Fever or chills, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, trouble swallowing, runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion, decrease or loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, not feeling well, extreme tiredness, sore muscles
  • Have you travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
  • Have you had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?

Kelowna Luxury Marine Cancellation policy

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS DUE TO OVERCAST WEATHER OR SLIGHTLY UNFAVOURABLE CONDITIONS.

If WEATHER DOES NOT PERMIT SAFE BOATING CONDITIONS (as determined by our Skippers), the Renter will be refunded the total booking amount (excluding $50 administration Fees)

Rescheduling DATES MAY BE DISCUSSED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS depending on vessel availability.

Date and weather basis:

General weather conditions can be often seen as much as 14 days in advance, and they become more accurate the closer the dates get.  With this in mind Kelowna Luxury Marine offers a tiered approach to Cancelation requests.

100% refund if more than 14-days notice from your charter date, Less $50 administration fee.

50% refund if between 14 and 7 days notice from your charter date, Less $50 administration fee.

0% refund if less than 7-days notice from your charter date.

In all cases there will be a $50 administration fee for refunds applied.

We at Kelowna Luxury Marine wish for you to have a safe and pleasant experience.  It is with this in mind that we reccomend that you plan your yacht booking to be early in your available dates, that way, if a rebooking becomes necessary, you may have an opportunity to fit into a later opening. 

Yes, there is a full bathroom on board.

Yes, both hot and cold.

Yes, it is both heated and air-conditioned. This means you will be sailing in comfort no matter the weather.

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks. You will have full use of the galley and fridge.

Yes, overnight options are available. Please inquire for full details.

We cannot provide medications so we highly recommend that passengers bring their own.

Yes, complimentary towels are available for use, if needed.

No, make sure to bring your own environmentally friendly sun and after-sun lotions. 

Regrettably, our boats are not pet friendly.

There are many catering options available, we will be happy to recommend a few that best suit your needs.
